From waitress in a small town, to number 1 agent in the country: Megan Wood, a small town girl from Darlington, IN always knew there was more in the world than the little small town she grew up in. Life’s often hard struggles that grip the majority of Americans didn’t shy away from latching ahold of a young quiet little girl with a big heart. At the young age of 17 she found herself as a server and waitress at the local Applebees, where she would work hard for the next 13 years, saving up enough money to put a down payment on a home for her and her young son. Little did she know, that this was the door that would open to change her entire life, and the life of so many others. Now she is Nationally recognized as the # 1 agent in the country, running her own agency out of Lafayette, IN and growing. We often tell people that our agency is similar to a gas station, in that Medicare is our fuel, our premium product that we provide to families.
